Touhey Grain Elevator

Touhey was nothing more than a stop on this now decommissioned line of the Great Northern Railroad. It stands northeast of the town of Withrow in Douglas County, alone in a field of debris and sagebrush with NOTHING around for miles.

Did you go inside the elevator? There is an old Model T engine inside that powered the mechanisms to move grain.

I was only brave enough to stick my head in the back. Probably going back in the spring..
